On November 12, the opening ceremony of CIT’s Second Automobile Culture Festival was held on the Huxi Campus. With the theme “Steer the Future, Smarten the Campus,” the festival featured three exhibition zones: the Racing Experience Zone, the Automobile Culture Zone, and the Youth Interaction Zone. Leaders of CIT attended the opening ceremony to observe and provide guidance.

In the Racing Experience Zone, the Yuanzheng Formula Student Team demonstrated dynamic events with their fourth-generation race car, including figure-8 turns, straight-line acceleration, and start-and-brake maneuvers, fully showcasing the excellent driving performance achieved through structural reinforcement, a lowered center of gravity, and optimized design. The demonstration attracted many passing students to stop and watch. They eagerly lined up to experience the professional car driving simulators, taking control of the “steering wheel” themselves to feel the thrill of speed and passion on a virtual track. The Automobile Culture Zone took visitors on a journey through time with rich graphic and textual displays, tracing the development of the automobile. The Youth Interaction Zone provided students with exclusive automobile-themed cultural and creative stamps. Students enthusiastically participated in a stamp collection activity, using each stamp to commemorate this vibrant, automotive-themed youth gathering. Additionally, this area featured fun lottery draws and the distribution of exquisite gifts, ensuring that the attending teachers and students came in high spirits and left with plenty of rewards, taking home the joy and luck of the festival.

During the one-month festival, corporate and academic experts will be invited to give a series of lectures related to the automotive field, analyzing industry trends and cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, a range of technology competitions will be held. This festival aims, through a variety of exhibitions, exchanges, awards, and interactive activities, to create a comprehensive platform that integrates “technology, culture, academics, and cooperation,” fully demonstrating the charm of the automotive industry and the character of the School of Automotive Industry.
