Dear faculty members, students, alumni, and friends:

Time goes by, and the years dance in and out gracefully. As the new year approaches, on behalf of CIT, we would like to extend our sincerest greetings and best wishes to all students, faculty members, retired comrades, alumni at home and abroad, and all the people from all walks of life who care about and support the growth of our university!

Following the chronological order, another chapter of glory begins again. Looking back at 2023, the undergraduate education teaching review and evaluation anchored the tone and clarified our tasks for talent cultivation at university. The high-quality development strategy of "one main and six doubles" in Jilin Province opened up a pattern and built a platform for education institutions to serve the local. Taking advantage of the overall revitalization of Jilin, the people of CIT adhere to our mission with our original intention, irrigate our achievements with our sweat, move forward with our practical work, and continue to write new chapters on building a "first-class application-oriented university in China".

Time flows by year after year like a stream. In the past year, all the people of CIT set our sights high, forged ahead, and, with firm determination, sufficient confidence and unremitting perseverance, advanced various work with high quality. In the pursuit of first-class progress, we made solid achievements and submitted satisfactory answer sheets.

The sun and the moon keep moving forward along with flourishing and new annals. Achievements belong to the past, and a new journey is under our feet. CIT is a university with altitude, profoundness and temperature, and the people of CIT are a group of men and women who are responsible, capable of undertaking great missions and contributive to the educational cause of China. Pursuing first-class is our altitude; deepening engineering education is our profoundness; and benefiting the people is our temperature. If people have enough ambition, they can eventually reach the place they want to reach no matter how far it is; if people have enough aspiration, they can succeed in whatever they want to do no matter how difficult it is. In the new year, we will surely write a new chapter of endeavors, and paint a blueprint for pursuing our dreams with unwavering confidence and gritty perseverance in the spirit of seizing every moment.

On the road of the one-thousand-li journey, the strong wind is blowing and the responsibility is heavy. Let's set off again!
