To deepen university-local cooperation and promote the integration of education, technology, talent, and industry, a delegation led by Sun Na, Deputy District Chief of Chaoyang District, Changchun City, visited CIT on June 18 for collaborative research. Yin Zhigang, Vice President of the university, attended the symposium.
At the meeting, Vice President Yin Zhigang briefly introduced the university’s historical evolution and achievements in education. He emphasized that the university cultivates high-level applied talents by establishing a talent development system and a sci-tech innovation service system integrated with local industrial and innovation chains, while striving to address bottlenecks hindering industrial development. He expressed hope that both sides would leverage their respective strengths, enhance collaboration, and work together for mutual development.
Sun Na said that Chaoyang District has deeply implemented the series of important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the all-round revitalization of Northeast China and the work in Jilin, and closely followed the provincial and municipal revitalization and breakthrough development strategies. Through policy guidance and resource allocation, it provides high-quality services for the scientific and technological research and development and talent training of universities within the jurisdiction, stimulates and releases the potential of universities, and promotes the transformation and implementation of scientific and technological achievements. She looked forward to further strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two sides to inject internal driving force into the transformation and upgrading of Chaoyang District’s industrial structure.
The two sides reached a wide range of cooperation consensus on such aspects as targeted talent training, technical demand docking, application for doctoral innovation workstations, graduate employment and achievement transformation.
