To thoroughly implement the strategic deployment of the Jilin Provincial Department of Education on the integrated development of vocational colleges and general universities, a delegation from Changchun Automobile Industry Institute visited CIT on July 3, aiming to foster integration of vocational and general education and joint development. Vice President Zhang Bangcheng met with the visitors and emphasized the need to focus on resource sharing, complementary strengths, and collaborative innovation to accelerate the progress of“program development, curriculum alignment, and resource sharing”.
During the meeting, heads from relevant departments and the visiting delegation exchanged in-depth views on topics such as joint program development, collaborative curriculum design, cross-institutional credit recognition, cooperative micro-programs, and the exploration of a seamless “vocational education-undergraduate-professional master” talent training pathway. The meeting yielded a series of consensus points and identified specific follow-up actions, laying a solid foundation for concrete collaborative projects.
This alignment symposium marks the entry of vocational-general integration and in-depth collaboration between the two institutions into the implementation phase. Both parties will expedite the execution of their cooperative agreement, jointly establish a high-caliber talent development hub, and work together to build a new ecosystem for high-quality educational advancement.
