Recently, CIT's participation in the EU's ERASUMU+ Project, titled "Enhancing Female LeAdership in STEM in China/FAITH" was successfully approved. This project is a sub project established under the framework of the EU's ERASUMU+ Project for international capacity building in higher education. It aims to draw on the experience of Italy and Spain in this field, to help women enhance their confidence and ideas, overcome obstacles and difficulties, cultivate and improve their abilities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and to promote the participation and competitiveness of Chinese women in STEM fields. The project execution period is from October 2024 to October 2027.
During the project cycle, CIT, as a member unit of the FAITH project and the coordinating unit of Chinese universities, will collaborate with the Universities of Turin in Italy, Salamanca in Spain, Fujian University of Technology, Changchun Normal University, and Nanjing Institute of Technology to jointly carry out the project. Under the framework of the project, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency will fund CIT to better conduct research on problems, analysis, course and platform development and construction, successful case collection , book printing.

In October 2024, project member units held project seminars online and offline to jointly discuss project work and provide suggestions for the smooth progress of the project.
The approval of this project is the second EU's ERASUMU+ Project approved by CIT as a member unit following the "Internationalization of Sino Russian Electrical Engineering Graduate Programs (INSPIRE)" project in 2017. This approval will further promote academic, research and cultural exchanges between CIT and European universities, enhance the research level of our teachers participating in international academic projects, and effectively promote the development of our university's education, teaching and international cooperation and exchange work.
