On the afternoon of April 9th, the final and award ceremony of the first “International Star” Cup English Business Communication Competition was held in the Second Lecture Hall of Huxi Campus of CIT. The one-month competition came to a successful end.
This competition is jointly organized by CIT and Singapore Chartered Institute of Technology. Teachers from Singapore Chartered Institute of Technology provide preliminary training, First round evaluation and one-on-one counseling before the competition. The final jury consists of teachers from our school and Singapore Chartered Institute of Technology. There are 38 teams participating in this competition, In which 13 outstanding teams stood out and entered the finals and participated in the on-site competition.
The competition was divided into two groups: the business communication group and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship group. The business communication group showed the activity planning scheme with the theme of "Mental Health Day". The innovation and entrepreneurship group presented their innovation projects in English. After fierce competition, the All Hands Up Team won the first prize of the Business Communication group and the Xiaoqiang Team won the first prize of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship group.
This competition is the first cooperative activity after the establishment of friendly and cooperative relations between our school and Singapore Chartered Institute of Technology last year.The competition fully demonstrated the unique style of CIT students. It not only broadens the international vision of CIT students , cultivates their competitiveness in international competitions and activities, but also enhances the friendship between the teachers and students of China and New Zealand, laying a solid foundation for more extensive and in-depth cooperation between the two sides in the future.
