On April 15th, 2023 Seminar on high-quality development of Chinese-foreign cooperative education of Jilin Province was held in CIT with the theme of "Promoting the Connotation Construction of Chinese-Foreign Cooperative school-running and co-writing 'Good' Education". It was sponsored by the Education Department of Jilin Province and undertaken by CIT.

Liu Xuejun, Deputy Director General of Education Department of Jilin Province attended the seminar and delivered a speech. Zhao Yanzhi, President of Shenyang University, Wu Anxin, Professor of Law School of Shandong Jianzhu University, Xia Engang, Director of Finance Office of Nottingham University of Ningbo, Chi Miao, Secretary of Southampton College of Ocean Engineering of Harbin Engineering University and other four experts from the Ministry of Education on evaluation of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools attended the seminar and gave special lectures.
Liu Xuejun, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Education, said in his speech that the seminar is the first special conference on foreign affairs in education for colleges and universities in Jilin province. In recent years, our province has been approved by the Ministry of Education for the pilot province of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools, which is of great significance for local economic construction to train high-level talents with international vision.
In the seminar, three colleges and universities in the province shared their experience in Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools.
After the seminar, participants from universities across the province had group discussions and exchanges.
