On March 29, the 89-year-old Han Guilin, who majored in civil engineering and Civil Engineering and graduated in 1959, returned to Fushun, Liaoning Province, accompanied by his son (Han Zhiwei, 1990 industrial and civil construction major alumnus.) and his relatives. Hu Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee of CIT, extended a warm welcome to alumnus Han Guilin on his return visit to Alma mater. He introduced the development and achievements of the university in recent years. After hearing about Han’s work experience, Hu Ming expressed heartfelt thanks to his hard work and positive contribution to the local economic and social development. In particular, returning to Alma mater at the age of 80 fully reflects his deep attachment and gratitude to his Alma mater, which deeply moved Hu Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee of CIT, he presented the alumnus with《History of CIT》, special issue of 《the Alumni》，School Emblem Gift Box，and other souvenirs of the 70th anniversary of CIT.
Alumnus Han Guilin said that although it has been 64 years since graduation, the yearning for his Alma mater has always been lingering in his heart. This trip to realize his dream has been highly valued and warmly received by the leaders of the university, and he was very excited. Seeing the rapid development of Alma mater, he felt very happy and proud. This time, he donated "Alumni address book" which he had treasured for years to Alma mater.
Han Guilin graduated from the Industrial and Civil construction major of our school in 1959, and had served as the president of the Student Union. When he graduated, he gave up the opportunity to work in Beijing and resolutely chose to join the Great Northwest Construction. He had worked in Jiuquan Iron and Steel Company in Gansu Province, Fushun Housing Property Bureau in Liaoning Province and Fushun Xinfu Steel Plant successively, and has been awarded as the "Good Man of Fushun" for many years in a row. Leaders of Party and government offices and alumni Office participated in the reception activities.
