To assist the scientific research growth of young teachers in the college, effectively stimulate their scientific research vitality, and tap into their innovative potential. On the afternoon of December 6, the College of Surveying and Mapping Engineering held a research salon and scientific and technological innovation team construction exchange meeting in the conference room (DJ1-217) of the college. More than 30 members of the science and innovation team and young teachers under the age of 45 attended the meeting. President Wu Jinghua attended the meeting and Vice President Xue Xiaogang presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, Vice President Xue Xiaogang made a detailed introduction on the research overview, research output, and research achievements of the college in 2023, and congratulated and affirmed the achievements of young teachers in the college, analyzed and summarized the existing shortcomings. And arrangements and deployments were made for the 2024 project application, encouraging young teachers to continue to leverage their strengths and constantly improve and create new achievements.
Six leaders of the science and technology innovation team of the school, Yang Yang, Miao Changsheng, Zhang Haihong, Liu Huanan, Cao Miaocong, Cui Li and Gu Zhongyuan, respectively reported and exchanged on the research direction, members, scientific research achievements in the past three years, academic conferences and future development goals of their respective teams. Subsequently, the backbone teachers of the Science and Technology Innovation team, Zhang Haihong, titled "Genesis of Oligocene alkaline rocks and Their Constraints on Deep Mantle Dynamics in Central and Eastern Jilin", Zhai Lianghao, titled "Research on Fracture Initiation and Propagation Mechanism of hydraulic fracturing in Oil shale", and Xu Chao, titled "Classification of Remote Sensing Image", exchanged and shared with the present teachers from the scientific research background, current research results and future development trends.
Finally, President Wu Jinghua delivered a speech, and he first recognized and praised the fruitful achievements of the scientific research work of the school in 2023. And the overall scientific research situation of the school is summarized as follows, forming a consensus on catching up with the others, forming advantages through thick accumulation, and forming a scale through multiple flowering points. At the same time, he pointed out that he hoped that the young teachers of the school could realize their own strengths and weaknesses through this exchange meeting, and gain inspiration and benefits from the research content, measures and achievements shared by various teams. And share the purpose and principles of team building with young teachers, to achieve win-win cooperation with lines and points, and to promote effective team cooperation by spreading branches and leaves in the main direction.
This scientific research salon further helped the young teachers sort out the advantages and disadvantages, clarified the scientific research ideas, and pointed out the development direction. The young teachers have benefited a lot, and will actively apply the results of the conference to scientific research, laying the foundation for the vigorous development of the college's scientific research.
