Recently, at the invitation of CIT Energy and Power Engineering College, Liu Zhenze, deputy director of the Smart Ocean Research Center of Jilin University, led a team to visit CIT and discuss scientific research cooperation.
At the symposium, Zhang Xiao, vice president of the School of Energy and Power Engineering, warmly welcomed the arrival of Deputy Director Liu Zhenze's team. He introduced in detail the scientific research achievements, personnel training and laboratory construction of the school in Marine renewable energy technology, and expressed the hope that through scientific research cooperation with the Smart Ocean Research Center of Jilin University, The two sides should strengthen cooperation in personnel exchange and platform sharing to promote win-win situation.
Deputy Director Liu Zhenze first introduced the development history, management and operation system mechanism, research topics and research results’ transformation of the Smart Ocean Research Center of Jilin University. During the exchange, Deputy Director Liu Zhenze fully affirmed the achievements of CIT in Marine renewable energy research, expressed the willingness to further cooperation, and emphasized the collaborative potential of the two sides in the field of Marine science and technology, and hoped that through close cooperation, the two sides can share scientific research resources and jointly declare scientific research projects to promote the development of Marine technology.
After the meeting, the laboratory staff introduced the general situation of the laboratory construction, research results and main instruments, and led the deputy director Liu Zhenze’s team to visit the laboratory.
In the future, the School of Energy and Power Engineering will continue to follow the work idea of "going out and bringing in" to further stimulate the intrinsic vitality of the college's scientific research and assist in the high-quality development of the school.
