In order to implement the development strategy of one master and six pairs in Jilin Province, promote the high-quality development of our province's characteristic intelligent manufacturing industry, implement the in-depth cooperation between schools, enterprises, industry, academia and research institutes, and provide a platform for learning exchange for young teachers, on October 24, 2023, Wang Litao, Secretary of the Party Committee of CIT College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Zhang Shuang, president of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Research Institute, Gao Jingang, Executive director of Auto parts Testing Center, Yang Wei, director of Robotics Teaching and Research Office, and Dr. Duan Zhenzhen, Hou Daishuang, backbone teachers of scientific research, went to FAW Jiefang Automobile Changchun Smart Bus Branch for in-depth research and technical project exchanges.

Faw Jiefang Automobile Changchun Smart Bus Branch exchanged with teachers of the college on technical problems such as large-size testing of new energy buses, flexible fixture manufacturing, non-destructive testing of bulletproof steel plate welds, and flexibility of welding fixture positioning module of welding robot workstation. Connected these technical problems needed to be solved by FAW Jiefang Automobile Changchun Smart Bus Branch with the research achievements of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering over the years, President Zhang Shuang introduced the special equipment jointly developed by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and well-known domestic enterprises such as CRRC Changchun Railway Bus Co., LTD., FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., LTD. Liuzhou Branch, Shaanxi Heavy Vehicle Co., LTD. The possibility of applying technological achievements to solve practical production problems of the enterprise is analyzed in depth. The two sides initially reached a cooperation intention on solving the core technical problems of the new energy bus production line, such as large-size testing of new energy buses, flexible fixture manufacturing, non-destructive testing of bulletproof steel plate welds, and welding robot workstations.

Through this technical exchange, we further understood the urgent technical needs of enterprises regarding the upgrading of existing traditional equipment and traditional processing workshops in intelligent manufacturing, deepened cooperation between schools and enterprises, provided new directions for the transformation and application of existing scientific research and technological achievements in the college, and played a driving role in the professional upgrading and transformation of the college from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing", as well as the reform of talent cultivation goals and models.
