The 5th Graduate Forum of the National Civil Engineering Structure Prefabrication and Assembly Engineering Technology Research Center, with the theme of "green, low-carbon, and intelligent prefabricated buildings", and the 4th 2023 China Construction Industrialization Integrated Development Industry Summit were recently held in Jinan, Shandong. More than 600 experts and scholars from more than 100 domestic universities and enterprises attended the summit. After the primary election and expert selection, 11 doctoral and master students from Tongji University, Shandong University, Jinan University and Changchun Institute of Technology made keynote presentations at the conference. The attending experts include Professor Li Yuanqi, Deputy director of the National Civil Structure Prefabrication Engineering Technology Research Center; Professor Wang Yanbo and Professor Li Zheng from Tongji University; and Professor Wang Peijun from Shandong University. The academic forum was chaired by Professor Li Zheng from Tongji University.
Yang Fan, the 2022 graduate student of CIT Structural Engineering, made a keynote report on the topic of "Research on seismic Performance and earthquake damage repair of prefabricated shear Walls with Defects" at the forum, introducing the relevant research works carried out by the research groups around the structural technology of prefabricated buildings in recent years. The main contents include the research on the mechanical performance of the joints with grouting sleeve defects, the research on the seismic performance of the assembled shear wall with grouting sleeve defects and the research on the seismic performance of the repaired assembled shear wall.
The participating experts fully affirmed the research results of this topic, and evaluated that this research is a targeted study on the key issues of the current development of prefabricated concrete structures, and has a good guiding significance for engineering practice. The experts also put forward suggestions for future research and development.
