In order to promote the declaration of national projects in 2023, a meeting on the declaration of national projects in 2023 was held online on the morning of January 12. Vice President Xu Jun ,and the vice deans (deputy directors) of scientific research of all colleges (departments and centers), the executive directors of scientific research platforms and relevant comrades from the Office of Scientific Research attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Hu Nan, Director of the Scientific Research Department.

At the meeting, Director Hu Nan summarized CIT's 2022 annual research funding and high-level achievements, expressed his gratitude to CIT's research units and research teachers for their hard work in the face of epidemic resistance. He stressed that national projects are of great significance to the university's goal of building a high-level applied university and the work of "applying for master's degree", and asked all units to attach great importance to organizing the declaration work, make a good overall planning, play a leading role and further improve the quality of the declaration of national projects.
Deputy Director Li Zhongshuai delivered a report on the work of national projects, comprehensively analyzed and summarized the declaration and establishment of national projects in the past three years, identified outstanding problems and put forward specific improvement measures from the management and service levels, and arranged the declaration of national projects in 2023 from three stages, 12 subject groups, five incentive policies and three points of attention.
Each college (department, center and platform) summarized the declaration of national projects in 2022, analyzed the problems, formulated improvement measures, put forward working suggestions and reported the declaration plan of national projects in 2023.
Vice President Xu Jun delivered a concluding speech. She firstly thanked the Scientific Research Office and all units for their elaborate preparation, clear thinking, thorough analysis and powerful initiatives, and recommended the Scientific Research Office to record, study and implement them well; using the analogy of "mountain climbing", she suggested everyone to have firm confidence, go forward and climb hard; using the perspective of "new, strange, special and fundamental". Finally, Vice President Xu Jun emphasized that all units should seriously implement the spirit of the meeting, strengthen responsibility implementation, fully co-ordinate and collaborate, take multiple initiatives to do a good job in declaring national projects in 2023.
