On April 17, the volleyball competition of the 20th Jilin Provincial Games (University Division), jointly held as the 13th Jilin Provincial University Games, came to a close at Song Zhiping Gymnasium, Jilin University. Under the guidance of head coach Wu Meilin, the CIT men's volleyball team secured the silver medal, marking the program's best-ever result in this event.

The tournament officially began on April 12. Throughout the group stage and the knockout rounds, the CIT players demonstrated outstanding competitive form and team cohesion, advancing steadily to the final, where they faced the host team from Jilin University.

In the final match against the formidable Jilin University squad, the CIT team displayed excellent coordination and well-organized offense and defense, showcasing solid technical skills and an indomitable sporting spirit that earned the respect of their opponents and applause from the audience. The players expressed their commitment to continuing intensive training and learning from the experience, with the aim of achieving even greater success in future competitions.
This remarkable achievement not only serves as a high-level testament to the team’s daily training efforts but also vividly reflects the fruitful outcomes of CIT’s physical education programs.
