CIT held the Launch Ceremony for the 20th Campus Reading Festival and the "Read and Discover Jinlin" Themed Reading Campaign on April 23. Over 300 representatives of teachers and students gathered together, witnessing the fruitful achievements in building a scholarly campus and inaugurating a cultural feast of reading through segments such as classic recitations, honoring outstanding individuals, and showcasing achievements in reading.
Wei Zihan and 29 other students from the School of Automotive Engineering were awarded the titles of "Reading Star", "Outstanding Library Volunteer", and "Reading Promotion Ambassador" respectively. CIT leaders presented them with honorary certificates and books that have won the Mao Dun Literature prize.
On April 22nd, the themed event "Recite Classic works, Showcase Youth's Charm" Classic Recitation Sharing Session was held in the lobby on the first floor of the library in Hudong Campus, successfully setting the stage for the launch of this year's Campus Reading Festival. The same day also featured activities such as the "You Choose, We Pay" on-site book selection fair and an electronic resource database exhibition.
During the Campus Reading Festival, additional events will be organized including the 20th Anniversary Achievements Exhibition, the "Read and Discover Jinlin" themed essay contest, and the Library Magic Night. All faculty and students are warmly encouraged to participate actively in these engaging activities.
