To promote high-quality employment for graduates and implement CIT’s key tasks for the "Industry-Education Integration Year," a delegation led by Song Lijun, Party Secretary of the institution, and Liu Zhaoguo, Deputy Party Secretary, conducted an on-sight research on April 18 at Sinohydro Bureau 6 Co., Ltd. and China Energy Engineering Group Northeast No.1 Electric Power Construction CO., Ltd. (NEPC).

During the visit to Sinohydro Bureau 6 Co., Ltd., Zhai Wanquan, Party Secretary and Chairman of the board, accompanied the delegation on a tour of the corporate exhibition hall and chaired a symposium. Chairman Zhai elaborated on industry development trends, the company’s strategic transformation and upgrading, and its talent demands, expressing a commitment to collaborate with the institution in deepening institution-industry partnerships. In response, Party Secretary Song Lijun of CIT highlighted the institution’s "New Engineering Education Initiative", ongoing efforts to enhance graduate employment and plans for advancing industry-education integration. He emphasized the institution’s proactive approach to aligning academic programs with industry upgrading needs, optimizing disciplines to meet emerging demands for application-oriented talents, and achieving targeted talent supply through customized training programs tailored to enterprise requirements.

During the meeting, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on matters such as collaborative customized training programs, institution-industry partnership frameworks, and talent development strategies, and reached a consensus. A formal agreement for the "SinoHydro Bureau 6 Customized Class" was signed, adopting a collaborative education model that integrates theoretical teaching + enterprise practice + on-the-job internships to cultivate application-oriented talents tailored to the company’s specific needs.

The institute places high priority on graduate employment, fully implementing an employment-first strategy to expand high-quality job positions, strengthen institution-industry collaboration, and advance industry-education integration. Moving forward, the institute will continuously monitor the implementation of cooperative agreements, organize regular follow-up visits with partner enterprises, and ensure dynamic alignment between talent cultivation and industry demands, thereby tangibly enhancing graduate employment quality.
