On October 21, the "Fifth Jilin Provincial Colleges and Universities Digital Architecture Application Skills Competition", which was guided by the Jilin Provincial Department of Education, organized by the Organizing committee of Jilin Provincial Colleges and Universities Digital Architecture Application Skills Competition and hosted by Jilin Institute of Building Science and Technology, came to a successful end. CIT College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and BIM Technology Industry College actively organized and selected a total of 8 teams to participate in the competition through the on-campus selection. Among them, the digital construction micro major students team stood out in various colleges and universities in Jilin Province and won three good results: one champion, one first prize, one second prize and third prize.
A total of 70 teams from 12 architecture universities in the province participated in this competition, covering three events. The competition closely revolves around the general tone of the development of "one main six pairs" in our province, and is the highest-level digital architecture application skills competition recognized by the Jilin Provincial Department of Education. CIT Digital Construction micro-major is the first architectural micro-major in Jilin Province, and has carried out two batches of enrollment, including students from 13 related majors in the whole school, and the feedback effect of students' learning is good. This competition is the first time for the students of digital construction micromajor in our school to appear in the Jilin Provincial Competition after completing two semesters of study, and the excellent results achieved have fully verified the teaching achievements of digital construction micromajor.
During the competition, teachers from BIM Technology Industry College of CIT visited the ultra-low energy consumption demonstration building project of Jilin Institute of Building Science and Technology and the laboratory of Digital Construction College to learn advanced experience and carry out in-depth exchanges with teachers representatives of universities and colleges in the province. The organizer held the "Intelligent Construction Talent Training and Digital Construction Technology Development Forum" at the same time, Professor Han Fengyi, dean of BIM Technology Industry College of CIT, as a special guest. This paper introduces the successful construction experience of CIT's digital construction of micro-major from the perspectives of national development of micro-major, significance of micro-major construction, successful advanced training mode, CIT's new model of school-enterprise cooperation, and successful experience in opening micro-major.
