To implement the major decision and deployment of the provincial government on the construction of an innovative province, strengthen the cooperation between safety and emergency management industry enterprises and universities, and achieve innovation through industry-academia integration, on October 13th, the Science and Technology Department of Jilin Province held Jilin Province Safety and Emergency Management Industry Enterprises Joining Universities for Scientific Research Cooperation Matchmaking Meeting at CIT.
This event was organized by the Science and Technology Department of Jilin Province and hosted by CIT. Vice-President of CIT Wang Chaoyong, the head of the Social Development and Technology Division of the Science and Technology Department of Jilin Province Fu Shuai, and the heads of seven related enterprises in the province attended the meeting. The meeting was moderated by Director Fu Shuai.
Vice-President Wang Chaoyong expressed his gratitude for the Science and Technology Department's support and assistance in research work of CIT, and congratulated on the opening of this meeting. He said that CIT would seize this opportunity to fully leverage its advantages in education, technology, and talent to focus on the development of safety and emergency management in Jilin Province, engaging in deep cooperation with relevant enterprises in areas such as talent cultivation, scientific research, technology transfer, and emergency technical services.
At the meeting, representatives from the seven participating enterprises gave brief presentations on their company's current situation, business operations, product overview, competitive advantages, etc. Professor Zhang Yichen, the Executive Dean of Jilin Emergency Management College, introduced the college's discipline construction, undergraduate and graduate education, scientific research, and social services.
After thorough discussions, the Science and Technology Department leadership and participating enterprise representatives expressed their full recognition of CIT's scientific research capabilities in safety and emergency management. The university-industry partnership has initially reached cooperation intentions and looks forward to engaging in deeper cooperation in more areas.
At the meeting, Chairman Zhang Jing of Jilin Hongjiu Safety Emergency Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Executive Dean Zhang Yichen signed a cooperation agreement.
