Recently, the 2023 National College Students Surveying and Mapping Innovation and Entrepreneurial Intelligence Competition, sponsored by the Education Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping, undertaken by Central South University and co-organized by Guangzhou Southern Surveying and Mapping Technology Co., LTD., came to an end. CIT students from the Department of Surveying and Mapping Engineering and College of Surveying and Mapping Engineering won 5 second prizes in the competition. Ma Jing, teacher from the College of Surveying and Mapping Engineering, was invited to serve as the judge of the final of the 2023 National College Students Surveying and Mapping Innovation and Entrepreneurship Intelligence Competition.
This year’s event is the first competition after entering the "2023 National College Students Competition Analysis Report" competition directory, and it is also a high-level event for national college students to demonstrate surveying and mapping technology innovation. The competition adopts the way of online contestants and offline judges, and the number of participating schools and students has reached the largest scale in the history of the competition.
