On February 20, a ceremony was held to celebrate the completion and handover of the six flats at the Hudong Campus of CIT. CIT leaders Hu Ming, Chen Quan, Liu Zhaoguo, Yang Yongsheng, Wang Yanbo, Wang Chaoyong, Zhang Bangcheng, Xu Jun, Han Wei as well as Li Leyuan, Deputy General Manager of Jilin Hongze Construction Engineering attended. The ceremony was hosted by Yu Miao, Director of the Party and Government Office.

At the ceremony, Hu Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee of CIT, expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the participating units and departments of the new flat project on behalf of CIT! He pointed out that the students residence is the living and learning place. Meanwhile, the spiritual home of the university students, and its position within the education of university is very important. He hoped that the new residence would become a warm home and a vibrant and passionate learning community for the students. And he wished that the students would cherish their living environment, study hard, build a good social network, develop a healthy personality to become a well-rounded senior application-oriented talent.

On behalf of CIT, President Chen Quan handed over the keys to the flats from Deputy General Manager Li Leyuan.
After the ceremony, school leaders and guests visited the new flats. The flats are equipped with supporting facilities such as study lounges, study rooms and bathrooms, and with comprehensive safety and communal facilities to effectively safeguard the personal safety and daily needs of students.
