Recently, Education Department of Jilin Province and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jilin Province announced the list of the second batch of provincial model modern industrial college construction projects, the School of Intelligent Vehicle Industry was approved. This is the second provincial model modern industry college construction project approved by the university after the BIM technology industry college.

According to the spirit of relevant documents of Education Department of Jilin Province and Jilin Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, through the unified deployment of the university, the organization and coordination of the Academic Affairs Office and the leadership of the College of Automotive Engineering, the College of Intelligent Automotive Industry was successfully awarded the second batch of provincial model modern industrial college construction projects through the links of college declaration, school-level project, merit recommendation and expert evaluation.
Based on the goal of training applied talents, the School of Intelligent Vehicle Industry is closely integrated with the development needs of the intelligent vehicle industry and is established by the School of Automotive Engineering in cooperation with enterprises such as Baidu Smart Technology Co.
