Recently, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jilin Province announced the funding project of talent development fund, and Professor Xu Jun’s project "research and demonstration application of intelligent construction of digital watershed based on the fusion of multi-source data model" was awarded the 18th batch of Jilin Province Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Funding Project (Excellence Category).

The project focused on a typical watershed, planed and initiated the research and demonstration of the "digital watershed" technology, concentrated its resources to make core technological breakthroughs , cracked the key technical problems that need to be solved in the field of digital watershed and intelligent water network in our province, and formed a demonstration to help promote the digital reform of water resources.

Professor Xu Jun's successful approval is another landmark achievement of our university in the implementation of scientific research to serve local economic development in recent years .
