On December 6th, the 2nd International Workshop on Future Computing and Networks was held online at CIT. Prof. Ming Hu, Party Secretary of CIT, Prof. Quan Chen, President of CIT, as well as three Vice Presidents —Prof. Chaoyong Wang, Prof. Bangcheng Zhang and Prof. Jun Xu, attended the workshop. Prof. Kun Yang from the University of Essex, and four Chinese and foreign experts attended the opening ceremony and the academic forum.
Address by Prof. Ming Hu
Prof. Ming Hu addressed that the 1st International Workshop on Future Computing and Networks held by CIT contributed to academic success in 2021 and that the 2nd International Workshop on Future Computing and Networks would continue to construct an international platform at the forefront of the network field, jointly exploring the direction and opportunities for the future global network cooperation. He expected that multiple efforts would be made to promote the development and prosperity of the computer science and technology discipline of CIT.
The Workshop invited famous scholars at home and abroad to deliver high-quality keynote speeches. The invited scholars conducted in-depth discussions on computing, communication and network, pursued academic consensus, and further promoted the development of computing and network technology in the future. They expressed cutting-edge academic views and rigorous argumentation regarding the integration technology of communication, perception and computing for 6G, the development of the Internet: CERNET, 6G vision and research challenges, machine learning for communication and computer network optimization and other issues, and interacted with teachers and students on related issues.
