On August 18, a centralized signing ceremony for colleges and universities cooperation with locality and enterprise was held by Liaoyuan Municipal Government. Prof. Ming Hu, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Changchun Institute of Technology (CIT), and Prof. Quan Chen, President of CIT, were invited to participate in the ceremony. Prof. Ming Hu delivered a speech at the ceremony. On behalf of CIT, Prof. Ming Hu and President Quan Chen as well as the main leaders of Liaoyuan Municipal Party Committee and Government jointly unveiled the “Liaoyuan Branch of BIM Technology and Industry College” jointly built by Liaoyuan Vocational Technical College and CIT.

On the same day, CIT also signed 8 industry-university-research cooperation agreements with Jilin Northeast Socks Textile Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd., Liaoyuan Modern Vocational Education Group Co., Ltd., Liaoyuan Vocational Technical College, Liaoyuan Ruiyi Grain Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and other enterprises and institutions. In the future, CIT will continuously, deeply and proactively meet the needs of local economic and social development, vigorously program the cooperation between CIT and the local government and the enterprise, accelerate the integration of industry-university-research, promote the development for the university and the local government and enterprises to step up to a new level in high-quality and sustainable development, and achieve a new leap in strategic development.
