From June 8 to 10, the Cultural Exchange Week Between CIT and ASEAN Universities was held by Changchun Institute of Technology (CIT). The event was jointly planned by the Division of International Relations and the Youth League Committee of CIT, and was jointly held by 4 ASEAN universities, including Cambodian University for Specialties, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Chartered Institute of Technology in Singapore, and Krirk University in Thailand.
The hosts from 4 universities in ASEAN countries introduced the geography, customs and culture of ASEAN countries and cities to the students of CIT in the form of video and presentations. They showed the charm and stories of Cambodian University for Specialties, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Chartered Institute of Technology in Singapore, and Krirk University in Thailand, realizing “cloud visit and cloud introduction”, and enabling the students of CIT to appreciate the unique customs of Southeast Asian countries and to enhance the understanding of university culture in ASEAN countries. Nearly 700 students participated in this event online.
This event was aimed to broaden the international vision for students, promote the international exchanges between teachers and students, as well as cultural and educational cooperation between CIT and the universities of ASEAN countries, drive the cooperation between CIT and the universities of ASEAN countries, and to push forward the development and prosperity of the external exchanges of CIT’s education.
