International Workshop on Future Computing and Networks 2021 Held at CIT

On December 18th, 2021, International Workshop on Future Computing and Networks 2021 was held at the third lecture hall of Changchun Institute of Technology (CIT). Prof. Quan Chen, President of CIT, Jisi Shan, Deputy Director of the Society Department of Science and Technology Association of Jilin Province, and Pengyu Zhang, Senior Engineer of Jilin Institute of Electrical Engineering, attended the workshop. And Professor Kun Yang of the University of Essex and four Chinese and foreign experts attended the opening ceremony and the academic forum as well.

 

The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Prof. Hongbin Sun, Dean of the School of Computer Technology and Engineering of CIT; The academic forum was chaired by the executive chairman of the workshop, Professor Kun Yang of the University of Essex.

Address by Prof. Quan Chen, President of CIT


President Quan Chen delivered a speech on behalf of the organizers. He briefly introduced the basic situation and future goals of CIT. He said that with the age of interconnection, the rapid growth of data has posed a great challenge to computing technology. This workshop will provide an exchange and discussion platform for experts and scholars at CIT and around the world. He sincerely hoped that experts and scholars will exchange their updated achievements. CIT is willing to work with relevant universities and scientific research institutions at home and abroad to jointly tackle key problems in relevant fields, and jointly create a better future for mankind on the road of promoting innovation and development.

 

Due to the COVID19 pandemic, International Workshop on Future Computing and Networks 2021 was held online and offline. Professor Shiwen Mao, Chairman Professor of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering of Auburn University, Xiaoying Sun, Dean of the School of Communication Engineering of Jilin University, Ekram Hossain, Professor of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering of Manitoba University, Kun Yang, Chairman Professor of the University of Essex, and Pietro LIO, Professor of the Computer Department of the University of Cambridge made wonderful academic reports respectively. Centering on indoor fingerprint recognition based on deep learning, tactile reproduction and interaction of multimedia terminals, multi-agent joint learning in cellular wireless networks, energy self sustainability in future wireless networks, digital twin model in medicine and other issues, they expressed cutting-edge academic views and careful demonstration, and interacted with on-site teachers and students on relevant issues.
