Jilin Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Fund Office and Jilin Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development recently issued notices approving the establishment of three provincial-level research platforms at CIT, including the "Cold Region Low-Carbon Construction Engineering Technology Innovation Center", the "Cold Region Urban Old Residential Area Livability Renewal Engineering Technology Innovation Center", and the "Jilin Provincial Research Base for Safety Development and Emergency Management". Notably, the "Jilin Provincial Research Base for Safety Development and Emergency Management" marks CIT's first provincial-level humanities and social sciences research platform approved by the Jilin Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Fund Office.
The newly approved platforms cover fields such as emergency safety and intelligent construction, marking a significant milestone in CIT’s efforts to deepen the integration of “New Engineering + New Liberal Arts” and advance local socioeconomic development. These platforms provide robust support and “CIT’s Wisdom”for emergency management, urban-rural construction, and related areas in Jilin Province.
