Recently, CIT graduate students Hairui Wang and Xuemei Tan published a research paper entitled "Experimental study on the sintering characteristics of biomass ash" in the top journal in the field of energy and power Fuel. CIT Professor Hu Nan and Researcher Zhang Aman from Tsinghua University are corresponding authors, and Changchun Institute of Technology is the first unit. Fuel is the TOP journal of the first district of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with the latest impact factor of 7.4, and is a high-quality scientific and technical journal in the field of energy and power of the China Association for Science and Technology, which is of T1 level.
In biomass fuel combustion equipment, there are serious problems such as ash accumulation and slagging on the heating surface, which affect the safe, stable and continuous operation of the system. Traditional ash melting temperature measurement has large subjective errors, and the release of alkali metals during the measurement process results in high values, affecting the accuracy of the measurement characteristic temperature. In this study, a new dual ash chamber system was invented to solve the above problems. The alkali elements released from the first ash chamber were captured by the second ash chamber downstream to compensate for the leakage of alkali elements, and further characterized the microscopic morphology of biomass to verify the accuracy of the experimental results.
