On the morning of 22 March, Zhang Yongchao, Deputy Director of Changchun Science and Technology Bureau, and two peer staffers came to CIT to investigate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Xu Jun, Vice President of CIT, Hu Nan, Director of the Scientific Research Department, Liu Guosong, Manager of the School's Asset Management Company Limited, attended the inspection activity.
The group visited on-the-spot inspection to the Jilin Provincial Key Laboratory of Changbai Historical Culture and VR Reconstruction Technology ,and then to the National Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Measurement and Control and Safe Operation Technology of Intelligent Distribution Network, gave an insight into the constructions and transformations of these two research platforms.
Vice President Xu Jun extended a warm welcome to Deputy Director Zhang Yongchao and his delegation, meanwhile, she highlighted the new achievements of the university in the fields of smart water conservancy, smart building, smart grid, advanced manufacturing, "Digital Jilin" and new energy. Liu Guosong, Manager of the School's Asset Management Company, reported on the transformation of the school's scientific and technological achievements , the problems faced ,and the tasks for the next phase of work.
Deputy Director Zhang Yongchao thanked CIT for its warm reception and instructed that CIT's scientific and technological achievements are distinctive featured and well suited to the industrial development needs of Jilin Province and Changchun City. The Changchun Science and Technology Bureau will collaborate with CIT, establish regular communication channels, build a docking platform for college and enterprises , college and investment and financing institutions, closely match the needs of enterprises, crack the difficult problems in the process of transformation of achievements, jointly promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements of the university.
The two sides also exchanged views on matters such as the policy on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, the construction of industrial parks and the joint construction of laboratories by the university and enterprises. The two sides also further reached a consensus on the ways and contents of cooperation.
