I. Basic Conditions

1. Non-Chinese citizens aged 18 or above, with valid foreign passports in good health;

2. Abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government, abide by the rules and regulations of CIT, and respect the customs and habits of the Chinese;

3. Excellent academic performance and correct learning attitude;

4. No record of violation of laws and disciplines;

5. Good financial capacity.

II. Admission Conditions

1. 18-35 years old;

2. Bachelor degree recognized by the Ministry of Education of China;

3. Excellent academic performance with the recommendation of two professors or associate professors;

4. Chinese proficiency at HSK4 or above is preferred;

5. Having not received other scholarships from the Chinese government at the same time.

     CIT is located by the beautiful South Lake, surrounded by hospitals, banks, large shopping malls, supermarkets, fitness and entertainment places, with perfect supporting functions.

    The International Students Apartment Building is located in Hudong Campus. There are dormitories with double rooms, three-bed rooms and four-bed rooms in different specifications and conditions. The apartment building is equipped with public kitchens, public reading areas and public self-study rooms, with air conditioning, refrigerators, washing machines and other equipment. There is a halal catering window on the campus, which provides all kinds of delicious food for students all day.

V. Other Expenses

Note: the International Students Apartment Building is equipped with network broadband interfaces. The broadband fee and telephone fee are borne by the students themselves, the water fee and electricity fee are borne by the students themselves, and the expenses of experiments, internship, visit and tourism outside the teaching plan are borne by the students themselves.

VI. Scholarships

CIT will provide scholarships for each newly enrolled international student. From the second academic year, the scholarship grade will be comprehensively evaluated according to the results and performance of the previous academic year. The details are as follows:

1. Application Form for International Student Scholarships of Jilin Provincial Government;

2. Application Form for International Students of Changchun Institute of Technology;

3. A copy of the photo page of the applicant’s passport;

4. Notarized highest academic certificate and academic transcript. If the applicant is a student in school or has been employed, the university’s certificate issued by the university or on-the-job certificate issued by the employer shall be submitted separately; non-Chinese and non-English versions shall be attached with notarized corresponding Chinese or English translations;

5. HSK level transcript;

6. The original and copy of the Medical Examination Records of Foreigners (uniformly printed by the Chinese health and quarantine department);

7. Study and research program in China (no less than 1000 words, the student with the program written in Chinese is preferred);

8. Letters of recommendation (in Chinese) from two professors or associate professors of the graduating university or college;

9. Evidence of no criminal record;

10. Financial guaranty certificate (deposit certificate or bank statement, with the amount of more than 10000 RMB).

VIII. Application Procedure

1.Applicants can click Apply Now at the top of the page to apply online.

2. Applicants can also click the link to download the Application Form for International Students of Changchun Institute of Technology and are expected to send the scanned copies of the application materials required in VII of the Enrollment Information to the email zhengyutao@ccit.edu.cn.

3. CIT will review the application materials. After the student’s materials pass the review, the institute will handle the admission notice and Visa Application Form for International Students to Come to China (JW202 Form). It takes 15-20 working days from the applicant’s application to the delivery of the admission notice.

Admission dates of international students: October 9 and 10, 2024.
