International Cooperation Programs

l EU Erasmus+ Program


From 2017 to 2020, CIT, as the coordinating college in China, participated in the Internationalization of Master Programs in Russia and China in Electrical Engineering (INSPIRE), which was a great success and was highly recognized by the European Commission Agency for Education, Audio Visual Teaching and Culture. This program was organized by the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbeliard, France, and jointly completed by 10 colleges and universities from 5 countries, including Italy, Germany, Russia and China.


This program has developed a new master’s course in Electrical Engineering. Through the training and introduction of the equipment of the program, teachers and students involved in the program have improved their ability in practice, which promoted the modernization and international development of higher education in China and Russia. Based on the experience of European curriculum development, the program jointly established an education network where degrees are mutually recognized in the field of Electrical Engineering, which had an influence on the professional field of Electrical Engineering in China and Russia.


l Overseas Training Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China


Since 2012, CIT has completed 7 overseas training programs, and approximately 50 teachers have carried out training in the scientific research institutions of Russia, the United States, Denmark, South Korea and other countries through the platform.


l Key Programs of Intergovernmental International Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation


In 2020, CIT received approval for the key program Research on Key Technologies of 100 Kilowatt Low-speed Direct Drive Horizontal Axis Tidal Current Energy Generator Set of the national key R & D plan Intergovernmental International Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation.


Aiming at the problems such as low velocity operation difficulty, low turbine energy conversion efficiency and poor dynamic seal of underwater motor of marine tidal current energy unit, the program studies the high-efficiency and reliable energy acquisition mechanism at low velocity by means of unit optimization design, theoretical simulation calculation and flume drag experiment. The research results of the program are expected to be applied to marine equipment, promoting the cultivation of innovative talents in the field of new energy, and realizing the use of marine energy, which will play a positive role in the development of deep and far sea resources and the maintenance of marine rights and interests.


The key program of the national key R & D plan Intergovernmental International Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation is a scientific and technological cooperation program implemented under intergovernmental bilateral and multilateral agreements. It is organized and managed in accordance with the unified requirements of the national key R & D plan, focusing on the major scientific and technological needs of intergovernmental common economic and social development, and dealing with high-level, multi-form and wide-ranging scientific research cooperation, which is of great significance in expanding foreign cooperation and exchanges and enhancing international influence.
