Spring rain moistens all things, it is just the right time to plant trees. This year marks the 46th Arbor Day in China and the 43rd anniversary of the nationwide voluntary tree planting campaign. To further enhance the environmental awareness of teachers and students, and to gather strength in creating a low-carbon and environmental protection campus culture, on the morning of April 11, the Logistics Support Department organized a campus tree planting activity.
Chen Quan, the Party Secretary of CIT, Song Lijun, the President, Yang Yongsheng, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Wang Yanbo, the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Xu Jun, Han Wei, the Vice Presidents, and some cadres and masses of the Party Committee and Logistics Committee of the government, as well as teacher representatives and student volunteers from Jilin Emergency Management College, more than 90 person participated in the campus tree planting activity, adding new green to the beautiful campus.
The teachers and students who participated in the tree planting activity jointly planted saplings of American red maple, storm Martin, house wax, and clumped red maple in the Lake West campus of school. In the process of planting trees, the teachers and students are enthusiastic, division of labor and cooperation. They plant the beautiful expectations of spring together with the seedlings, and the CIT campus is full of vitality in the harmonious spring breeze.
Everyone expressed that the campus is the common home for teachers and students, and tree planting activities can further consolidate the consensus of teachers and students to love, honor, and prosper the school, which not only beautifies the campus environment, but also sublimates the ideological realm.
