Recently, the 13th Jilin Province College Student Structural Design Competition and the 16th National College Student Structural Design Competition in Jilin Province, hosted by the National College Student Structural Design Competition Committee of Jilin Province, Air Force Aviation University, came to a successful end.
The three teams sent by CIT, led by teacher Ni Hongguang and Wen Yong, Zhu Kun and Wang Dejun served as the guiding teachers，won the Grand Prize, first prize and second prize respectively, and also won the qualification to participate in the final of the 16th National College Student Structural Design Competition to be held in Changsha University of Science and Technology in October 2023. The winning team members were all from Class 2141 of Zhizao College of Civil Engineering. The first team of CIT composed of Cao Zhengtong, Xu Jiaxin and Bi Yu won the grand prize, the third team of CIT composed of Zhou Yuhao, Liu Jiangtao and Cen Yuanwang won the first prize, and the second team of CIT composed of Fang Yongting, Wen Huabing and Wang Gaoyuan won the second prize.
The National College Student Structural Design Competition is one of the 9 national discipline competitions jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. It is the highest level and largest Class A competition in the field of civil engineering and construction engineering, and it is of special significance for cultivating college students' innovation awareness, team collaboration, and engineering practice ability.
