CIT Students Won the Second Place in the 6th China University 

Intelligent Robot Creativity Competition VEX U

On July 1-2, the 6th China University Intelligent Robot Creativity Competition VEX U special Competition was held in Shenzhen. Led by Mr. Wang Guilong, deputy Dean of CIT College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education, the team composed of Yang Helan, Sun Ruohao and Ma Bo from Class 2145 of Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation Major of the School of International Education participated in the competition with dozens of teams from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and other universities.Our school's representative team overcame all the difficulties and won the second place.

The VEX U Special Competition of China University Intelligent Robot Creativity Competition is co-sponsored by the Chinese Society of Higher Education, the Engineering Graphics Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and the Organizing Committee of China University Intelligent Robot Creativity Competition. VEX U, as the VEX Robotics series competition project, is a robot competition platform for young engineers around the world, and is one of the events of the Global Robot World championship. In recent years, the School of International Education has integrated entrepreneurship and innovation education and discipline competition into the whole process of talent training, creating a talent training model of "professional + Internet + entrepreneurship and innovation". With the support of instructors from relevant professional colleges, the school has continuously improved students’ innovative thinking and professional ability, and the talent training effect has become increasingly prominent.
