On March 6, CIT and the Russian Far Eastern Federal University held a cooperation meeting by video conference. Leaders from both sides had an extensive exchange of views on joint training of talents, cooperation in education and research, and short-term exchange of students. Prof. Wang Chaoyong, Vice President of CIT, attended the meeting and it was hosted by Prof. Zhao Yuxi, Division Chief of the Division of International Relations.
During the meeting, representatives from both sides introduced the school’s development histories, majors, international exchanges and other basic information. They had extensive exchanges on the cooperation of the undergraduate students studying projects for master’s degrees in Russia, joint training programmes for postgraduate students, academic exchanges in related disciplines, short-term internships and summer camps for students. Both sides agreed on the feasibility of cooperation and expressed willingness to carry out the in-depth cooperation. In the next step, the two universities will push forward the signing of the cooperation agreement and carry out the substantive cooperation actively in related fields.
