Recently, the China Electricity Council announced the 2023 annual power workers Technology Innovation Award winners list, Professor Chen Tiehua from School of Energy and Power Engineering and Fujian Cotton Beach hydropower Development Co., LTD., Hangzhou Chengyu hydropower Technology Co., Ltd. jointly completed the "cloud platform and three-dimensional simulation technology based on electronic map document management system" and won the second prize.
This achievement is based on the project of "Research and Development of Electronic drawing Document Management System Based on Cloud Platform and 3D Simulation" chaired by Professor Chen Tiehua.The application of modern computer technologies such as cloud platform, big data, 3D simulation, QR code, and AR has achieved intelligent management of drawings, document materials, and main equipment throughout the entire lifecycle of hydropower plants, which is an innovation in the intelligent management mode of graphic and textual materials in modern hydropower plants. The achievement has been appraised by experts organized by China Huadian Group and is currently the latest and most comprehensive electronic drawing document system based on AR technology in the industry.
In recent years, CIT has continuously strengthened the construction of disciplines and specialties in the characteristic fields of water conservancy and hydropower, improved the service ability of the industry, and broadened the service channels, and this is another achievement of CIT in serving the hydropower industry.
