On November 28th, 2021, Xuemei Tan, a graduate student of the School of Energy and Power Engineering of Changchun Institute of Technology (CIT), attended the 4th International Conference on Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler, delivering an academic report entitled “Experimental Investigation on Macro-Scale Pressure Fluctuation in Gas- Solid Fluidized Bed” online.

The 4th International Conference on Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler was hosted by Tsinghua University, Chongqing University and Busan University in South Korea. The conference was held online and broadcast live on YouTube and Facebook. Professor Hairui Yang of Tsinghua University served as the president of the conference. Professor Guangxi Yue, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor Jesse Zhu, Academician of the Royal Society of Canada, and more than 200 experts and scholars from Switzerland, Poland, Italy, Sweden, South Korea and Canada were invited to the conference. During the three days, the experts and scholars from various countries conducted full academic exchanges, pointing out the direction for the development of circulating fluidized bed boiler in the context of carbon neutralization.
