On March 27, Party Secretary of CIT Chen Quan, President Song Lijun and Vice President Zhang Bangcheng led a team to Changchun New District to conduct thematic research on deepening strategic cooperation in science and technology innovation between the university and the local area. Hua Jingbin, Member of the Standing Committee of Changchun Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Changchun New District, accompanied the research, and conducted in-depth exchanges with the research team of our college on promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the new district, placing scientific research institutions, and joint training of innovative talents.
The CIT research group visited the New Innovation Valley in the core area of North Lake Future Science City, and observed the situation of enterprises settling in the Northeast Maritime Innovation Center of Western Returned Scholars Association, entrepreneurship of overseas returnees and operation of talent community. Conduct on-site inspections of the development and ecological environment of the cultural and tourism industry in the new district at North Lake Park and Yuerong Village projects; At the Changchun New District Planning Exhibition Hall, learn about the regional planning, industrial development and key enterprises and products of Changchun New District in detail.
During the research, Secretary Hua Jingbin introduced the economic and social development of Changchun New District to the research team in detail, and deeply interpreted the development planning and positioning of North Lake Future Science City. He stated that Changchun New District focuses on the construction of North Lake Future Science City, gathers high-end innovation resources, accelerates the cultivation and development of new productive forces, and creates a science and technology innovation highland with core competitiveness. Changchun Institute of Technology has abundant scientific research resources and strong research capabilities, and cultivating a large number of innovative talents. The next step is to continuously deepen cooperation between the university and the local area, jointly promote the joint training of innovative talents with the university, focus on emerging industries such as new energy and new materials, build high-level scientific research institutions, accelerate the landing and transformation of scientific research achievements in the North Lake Future Science City. It is hoped that CIT can deeply integrate into the development of North Lake future Science City and achieve joint progress and common development.
