School of International Education was established in 2013 with the aim of cultivating applied talents with international vision and competitiveness. The School currently has 4 Sino-foreign Joint Undergraduate Programs approved by the Ministry of Education, including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation, Energy and Power Engineering, and Electrical Engineering and Automation, and the 4 majors have been selected as national or provincial first-class professional construction sites. In 2017, the School commenced enrolling full-time international students majoring in Civil Engineering (4-year system, taught in English) and Chinese Language and Culture (1-year system). The teaching team undertaking 4 Sino-foreign Joint Undergraduate Programs was rated as “Excellent Teaching Team in Jilin Province”. The School has International Student Management Center, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Center and other departments, taking charge of the enrollment, management, service and related teaching of international students.
