The School of Continuing Education is the management institution and school running entity specialized in adult higher education. Through correspondence education and self-study examination education, it undertakes multi-level adult higher education programs such as adult junior college, advanced three-year program and continuing three-year program . In recent years, the School has made great progress in continuing education for higher academic qualifications. Relying on the perfect school running conditions and environment of CIT, the School has trained 57,000 applied professionals in engineering technology, management, economy and other fields for the national water conservancy, electric power, construction, metallurgy, machinery, chemical industry, transportation, municipal administration, resource development and other industries.
